Build your Network Marketing business while you're shopping.
by moderator on Sun 08/20/2006 04:14 AM |
Generating leads for your Network Marketing business does not have to take long if you incorporate your lead generation activity into your normal daytime activities.
The imaginative use of business cards can generate a large number of leads for your business. The cards should contain a brief advertisement or teaser for your business (your sponsor should be able to give you some examples of cards that work in your organisation), and of course your contact details.
Whenever you go shopping, leave your car in the car park a little way from the entrance. If you have to pay for the parking, make sure to leave a few cards on the ticket machine (inlucing one in the slot that the ticket drops into). As you walk to the shop, place business cards on all of the cars you pass. By sticking them between the window and the rubber door seals, this takes no time at all. If you don't drive and travel by bus, leave some cards in the bus stops.
When you collect a trolley, simply drop a card into several of the other trolleys (you can of course do the same with baskets).
Do you need to withdraw cash? Leave a business card in the card slot of the cash machine. The next user has to take it out. Once the card is in his hand, he may well take a look.
While you are shopping, place a few cards in the frequently visited sections, such as bread and milk.
If you are buying a magazine, find the finance section and place cards in all of the Loans, Franchising and Home Business magazines. People pay fortunes to advertise in these publications. If you place your card inside them, your information will literally fall into the readers' hands!
At the checkout, strike up a converstaion with the person at the till. With no offence meant, operating a till is unlikely to be their life ambition. Show them what you have to offer. While packing your bags, place a few business cards into unused carrier bags. When people get home, having spent a fortune on their shopping, your business card is their when they unpack - and it is already in their home!
If you use a little imagination, you should be able to drop around 200 cards per day, without going out of your way. This is over 1000 per week. Don't worry if you don't get an immediate response. I have had calls from people who have held on to cards for 6 months and more. Just get into the habiot of doing the activity and the results will follow.
Have fun prospecting
