Even though it's best to haveface-to-face meetings in marketing situations, you can use theinternet to find where other like-minded people are in yourarea. Searching them out is a great way to start your homebusiness.

There are other ways to start your business. For example you canpurchase email lists of potential customers. Let's say that youhave a roof-gutter cleaning service. You'll be able to get liststargeted specifically to home and building owners who may needyour expertise. If you can buy opt-in mail addresses it would beeven better. This means that only those who want to receive amessage about what you're offering would be contacted. As withanything else, when you are looking for this type of thing,proceed with caution. Anytime you pay for something sightunseen, you want to find out if the provider has qualitycredentials. Unfortunately, network marketing is subject to thesame potential scams as other businesses.

The network marketing business has the same components of amarketing plan as any other business. You must come up with agood product or service, and then convince the customers thatthey need what you're selling. You also need to identify yourtarget customer base, as well as find out who your competitionis and where you can fill a need they aren't meeting.
