Creating positive changes in your home for your development innetwork marketing.

You've decided that network marketing is the way to take controlof your life. This is a wonderful first step towards financialsuccess and securing your future. To make the most of your newlifestyle, which will include working from home, you will wantto take some time to organize your home office.

Not every part of your home may be quiet enough or have adequateroom for your office. Picking the best area for your office isimportant. You want to choose a space that will help you avoidinterruptions. If you have family, your office may have to beoff limits to them. You may want to stay away from otherdistractions such as the television or windows overlooking highlevels of activity.

The personal space for your business needs privacy, light, androom for all the things that you'll add to it. It should also becomfortable, organized, and equipped to keep you motivated.

Your home office will need a few essential items. A desk, lampor similar lighting and a comfortable chair are all important.Equally important are a computer, printer, fax, scanner, clock, file cabinet and phone system. A good quality phone system willpay dividends and should include a headset, flash button, mute, and preferably a speakerphone with mute. Speed dial and callerID can also be very useful. A business cell phone will also keepyou available while you are away from your desk. Call your localphone company and set up Voice Mail, Three-Way Calling, and CallWaiting. Train yourself to use these tools effectively. Youshould also consider having two additional lines installed foryou business phone and fax. As you will probably be spending alot of time on the phone, shop around for the best long-distancedeals. And make sure your phone voicemail message is bothbusinesslike and energetic. You should keep a calendar forappointments, and work out a way of tracking your work andprospects. Purchase a 3-ring binder, pocket folder, or othermethod to keep all your information (contact numbers, companypaperwork, etc.) accessible and organized. Also remember to keepon hand a supply of printer paper, ink cartridges, empty disksor CDs to store data. There is nothing worse than running out ofthese staples when you are busy.

You should also keep on hand your motivational tools such asyour journal, CDs and DVDs, along with your short-term andlong-term goals. Motivational items like goals lists and thedescription of your ideal day, works wonders when posted boldlyaround your office. Sometimes light classical music to keep youcompany as you work really helps you along. Remember that theserecommendations are to assist you with your success; howeversuccess is attained from within, not with tools and gadgets. These suggestions are to ease your workload and improve yourefficiency. You have the real power to take control of your lifeand make your dreams come true.
